Glued Laminated Timber (Glulam)

What is Glulam?

Glued laminated timber (glulam) is an engineered wood product and a member of the mass timber construction family. Glulam has an extensive history, first being used in the late 1890s and early 1900s in Europe. In the U.S., one of the first glulam structures to be erected was a USDA research laboratory located in Wisconsin in 1934 – it remains in service to this day!
